About the Product

We realize that when it comes to your baby, it can be difficult to know what brand to trust.

In the 2014 BrandSpark nationwide Shopper Study, Similac was voted Canada’s #1 most trusted baby formula brand**.

With Similac Advance Omega 3 & 6, you can trust that you are giving your baby our closest formula ever to breastmilk to support her healthy development. It is the only formula containing Galactooligosaccharides and Lutein, a nutrient babies can only get from breastmilk or Similac Advance.

Galactooligosaccharides (GOS)

Why are galactooligosaccharides important?

Your baby's gut relies on millions of good bacteria to support digestive health.

Galactooligosaccharides act like food for the beneficial bacteria in your baby's intestinal tract and may help them grow and thrive. Galactoologosaccharides also help promote softer stools similar to breastfed babies.

Lutein

Why is lutein important?

Your baby first year of life is a critical time for brain and eye development. Lutein is naturally found in breast milk and highly concentrated in the eye and works in 2 ways:

  1. It absorbs potentially damaging light
  2. May protect against oxidative damage in the eye.

Until your baby’s diet includes foods like leafy greens, corn and eggs, he can only get lutein from breast milk or Similac Advance and Similac Go & Grow with Omega-3 & 6
