What makes Similac 360 Total Care™ our most advanced formulation?

Advancing research, knowledge of breast milk and technology has allowed Abbott to add a 5-oligosaccharide blend* to Similac 360 Total Care™, making it our most advanced standard cow’s milk formula. The 5 oligosaccharides* are structurally identical to those found in breast milk. Similac 360 Total Care™ also contains DHA, lutein and natural vitamin E§.

* Not derived from human milk.

§ RRR-alpha-tocopherol, the most bioactive form of vitamin E.

Why choose Similac 360 Total Care™ over other Similac® formulas?

While all Similac® infant formulas provide complete nutrition for infants, Similac 360 Total Care™ has a blend of 5 oligosaccharides*, which represent 5 of the most abundant human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) found in breast milk. This 5-oligosaccharide* blend is designed to support baby’s developing brain, immune system and digestion.

Will my baby tolerate the transition from Similac Pro-Advance® to Similac 360 Total Care™?

Similar to other infant formulas, Similac 360 Total Care™ is easy to digest. Every baby is unique and may react differently to changes in their diet. Keep in mind that it is best to check with your baby’s health care professional for specific recommendations.

Isf Similac 360 Total Care™TC is replacing another Similac® formula?

Similac 360 Total Care™ is a line extension. Similac Pro-Advance® will continue to be available in certain formats such as Similac Pro-Advance® Step 1 859 g powder and 16 x 235-mL ready-to-use bottles as well as Similac Pro-Advance® Step 2 859 g powder.

Will Similac® be adding 5 Oligo+ to its other formulations?

Abbott is always conducting research and evaluating future opportunities to advance its infant formulations.

How do I transition my baby from Step 1 to Step 2?

Similac® Step 1 infant formulas can be used from birth until 1 year of age, or until your baby’s health care professional recommends a suitable alternative. As of 6 months old, you should begin introducing solid foods into your baby’s diet. At these milestones, it might be time to transition to a Similac® Step 2 formula.

Baby’s calcium requirements increase in the second half of the first year. Similac® Step 2 formulas contain more calcium than Similac® Step 1 formulas and are designed to support the growth of babies as of 6 months of age as they transition to a variety of solid foods.  Keep in mind that it is best to check with your baby’s health care professional for specific recommendations.
